As part of its special issue "Produire Durable" of September 2020. Distriplast highlights its packaging solutions that are reusable and recyclable.
During this first month of containment in Europe, Distriplast and all of its teams organized to stay 100% operational and to respond on the short notice to all needs for protective corrugated sheets or packaging projects.
Our design team has been also involved, as in many other companies, on new protections requested for the fight against Covid, like screening for temporary rooms, temporary furniture’s, fever control stations….
Our production site remains fully open for the months of April and May.
Reactivity is key in the current circumstances. We can meet your short-term needs (less than 3 weeks lead-time) and we can plan together the anticipation of your future volumes, to support you fully during the industry recovery…
You can count on all of us!
We are pleased to announce the new Polypropylene regranulation line has extruded its first ton of recycled PP! The new line was recently installed at Distriplast in order to keep up with the continously increasing production of Diplast corrugated sheets. Expected energy savings is least 12% compared to the previous installation and will be measured as part of the current ISO50001 certification.
The modernization of the regeneration plant for recycling plate production waste has 2 primary benefits: significantly improving the working conditions and increasing the recycling capacity of the plant for both own waste and plates returned by industrial customers.
With approximately half of its production of plates made from recycled PP (internal, post-industrial and post-consumer), Distriplast continues its investment with actions in the circular economy in 2017.
After the Beaulieu Chair and the recyclable dustbin, Distriplast and the B.I.G. R&D department proudly present the eco-friendly camping solution of the year: the Distriplast tent.
Developed in collaboration with a student from UGent and just in time for the festivals, the temporary tent is made out of Diplast polypropylene corrugated sheets protecting the residents from rain and sun. Due to its effective design and use of materials, the tents can be designed to use over 3m wide PP sheets (across the flute). The PP sheets can be custom printed allowing event organizers and sponsors to use it as a canvas and convey their messages as well as giving them more aesthetic.
In addition to its resistance to various weather conditions and playful character, the tent is also eco-friendly: it's reusable and 100% recyclable.
Distriplast will be present at the Interpack fair that will take place in Düsseldorf (Germany) from 4 till 10 May (Stand F16-4, Hall 9)
Next to our very broad range of solutions for all packaging and protection needs we will present a prototype of a recyclable foldable dustbin manufactured out of PP corrugated sheets from Distriplast. This bin is easily transportable, light, water resistant, printable, and 100% recyclable. It can be used in offices, on fairs, on events, etc.
See you there!
Although Distriplast’s need for energy cannot compare with Arcelor Mittal’s facilities, to improve our energy efficiency and learn from other industrials’ experience belong to our manufacturing strategy. While visiting Dunkirk facilities on the initiative of Énergie2020, regional Energy Agency, we could appreciate the issues and approaches to be taken. Steel coils leave Dunkirk for a further finishing process in other factories: Diplast corrugated sheets become there of great value in a cost effective prevention of the painted or galvanized coils and sheets.
The Beaulieu Chair is a creative communication (s)tool, manufactured out of PP corrugated sheets from Distriplast. The Chair is designed as a transportable flatpack, which makes it easy to transport.
The boxed Beaulieu chair is made out of two sheets ready to fold and is thus easy to assemble in less than 30 seconds without any tool. Although very light (+/- 1kg), this stool made of corrugated sheets is a heavy duty chair, water resistant and can be used as communication tool for outdoor and indoor.
By using digital printing we can personalize the complete seat and offer a unique branding tool, allowing you to create a long lasting branding experience in a surprising and innovative way.

We will be present at the Interpack fair in Dusseldorf (04/05 to 10/05/2017) on the booth of Business France to present our latest developments. Interpack is THE event for the packaging industry.
The Distriplast booth attracted a lot more visitors, especially from the UK. That enabled us not only to strengthen our existing customer contacts, but also to receive a lot of leads from new prospects. That's mainly the result of the work of our new sales person who is working on the German, Swiss and Scandinavian markets. The "Beaulieu Chair", replacing the impersonal chairs that can be found on most of the booths, has attracted the interest of advertisers who were impressed by the strength to weight that's without comparison with other cardboard chairs which also do not have the same durability.
