Distriplast has always invested heavily in reducing its environmental footprint. These efforts start with a sustainable production.
We are constantly looking to improve our water and electricity consumption and recycle all production residues into the production of PP sheets for the construction industry and packaging business.
Furthermore, Distriplast is entirely REACH conform and uses recycled materials for half of the total production of its polypropylene sheets.
When it comes to our plastic sheets, we’re proud to say that they are 100% recyclable. You can use several methods for disposing of our sheets:
Grinding / Granulation / Extrusion
Incineration with energy recovery
To come full circle, Distriplast promotes multimodal or combined transport. This means less time on the road and less CO2 emitted by transporting your polypropylene sheets. Our strategic location at the crossroads of international highways also allows for export by sea container.
REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry.
During this first month of containment in Europe, Distriplast and all of its teams organized to stay 100% operational and to respond on the short notice to all needs for protective corrugated sheets or packaging projects.
